Costa Rica Day 7 Wednesday

Cost Rica Day Seven Wednesday

We can’t believe that today was our last work day! It has gone by so quickly and we have mixed feelings—we are tired from all the work, but at the same time would like to accomplish more for these dear people.

When we came, Tim had a list of jobs for us to accomplish—the classrooms in the library, the storage room in the garage, and the refurbishing of the apartments. Here is what we were able accomplish through God’s provision¨:

The classrooms in the library are built! Each of the rooms are dry walled, taped, mudded, and sanded, ready for paint. The library was returned to itself—cleaned, dusted, mopped, and again useful to the students. They look great!!

The storage room is complete!! It has a door way and looks as if it were built by masons, not a pastor, teen, and computer guy.

The apartments have been transformed! Tim and Amanda received these blessings—the powder room was painted, the living/dining room curtains were hemmed and hung, the kitchen got new curtains, a bedroom was painted, got a rod and new curtains, the bath got new curtains and a sink skirt, Timmy’s room got new curtains, Shelby and Kippy had their curtains hemmed, and got a closet built and painted, and their bath received new fixtures and paint. Tim and Amanda got new curtains and a new duvet cover for their bed.
In the upstairs apartment, Lora’s living/dining room and bedroom were painted and got new curtains.
The third apartment, which was empty, is now livable. A new wall was built which now provides a kitchen/dining/living area, which was painted, and 2 bedrooms were partially rebuilt and painted, and the bathroom was painted and got new fixtures.
God multiplied the works of our hands, there is no doubt! The total ´man-hours´ worked was 785!! Thank you, Lord!

We have been so blessed to have had this experience. God has taught us things we shall not forget. We came to be servants to missionaries, and in return we were served in such ways that truly humbled us.

Thank you again for all of your prayers. They have been felt.

God bless you all and we will see you soon!
